The steps are the same in Claude on the web and Claude Desktop.

Open Connectors

In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors.

Add a custom connector

Click +, then Add custom connector and enter:

Name: PostSig CPM
URL: https://mcp.postsig.com/cpm

Click Add and complete the OAuth login with your PostSig account.

Use it

In a chat, click the + button in the message box, choose Connectors, and toggle on PostSig CPM.

On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner must first add the connector under Organization settings → Connectors; members then connect to it from Customize → Connectors.

Custom MCP connectors in ChatGPT require developer mode, available on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu plans.

Enable developer mode

Go to Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and toggle on Developer mode.

Create the connector

Go to Settings → Connectors, click Create, and enter:

Name: PostSig CPM
Connector URL: https://mcp.postsig.com/cpm

Click Create and complete the OAuth login with your PostSig account.

Use it

In a chat, click the + button near the message box, select More, and choose PostSig CPM.

Run:

claude mcp add --transport http postsig-cpm https://mcp.postsig.com/cpm

On first use a browser window opens for OAuth login.

Tools marked (write) require the write scope. All others are read-only.

Contracts

Tool	Description
`list_contracts`	List contracts (defaults to active). Returns concise summaries — id, name, vendor, dates, USD spend, tags, business group. Paginated.
`get_contract`	Full detail for one contract by id. The “show me / pull up” tool for a single contract.
`query_contracts`	Filter contracts by vendor, contract type, business group, tag, renewal type, date windows, annual spend range, and price-escalator status. Sortable.
`search_contract_clauses`	Search contracts by their legal clause text or AI summary.
`update_contract` (write)	Update whitelisted fields on a contract: `business_group`, `business_sponsor`, `tags`.

Vendors

Tool	Description
`list_vendors`	List vendors sorted by current annual spend (USD desc).
`get_vendor`	A vendor with their contracts, relationship metrics, and per-contract spend in USD.

Renewals

Tool	Description
`get_upcoming_renewals`	Active contracts whose action date falls within N days, sorted by urgency. Supports vendor-scoped queries.
`get_renewal_summary`	Renewal-decision brief for one contract — cancel-by deadlines, auto-renew status, end-of-term outcomes, and price changes at renewal.

Spend

Tool	Description
`get_spend`	Total org-wide spend over a time window, in actual-cost or amortized view.
`get_spend_breakdown`	Spend pivoted by business sponsor or business group, with current-month vs. next-month deltas.

Reports

Tool	Description
`get_report_data`	Run a named CPM report (renewals, compliance, invoicing, etc.) and return its rows. Paginated.

Other

Tool	Description
`list_tags`	List all tags defined in the organization. Resolve a tag name to an id before calling `query_contracts`.
`get_contract_lineage`	The amendment chain for a contract.
`get_groups`	Query groups/teams and their contract access.
`add_users_to_contract` (write)	Attach named users (typically from an HR CSV) to a contract product.
